Teriyaki Chicken for the Busy Cook

I can be quite a busy bee sometimes.
Sometimes I can't even feel the day as it breezes past me and then it's dinner time again.

That's why I'm grateful for recipes such as this because they are a lifesaver in times when I really need to do a home-cooked meal because I'm expecting some guests, or if I'm just really craving for one but don't exactly have the time.

Teriyaki Chicken for the Busy Cook -Ingredient

1 (4 pound) chicken, cut into pieces

1/2 cup soy sauce

1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle orange-flavored carbonated beverage

Teriyaki Chicken for the Busy Cook -Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Mix the soy sauce and the orange soda in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Add the chicken, turning to coat evenly. Bake, skin side down, for 30 minutes. Turn and bake for an additional 30 minutes. Let cool and serve.
